FLIGHT: A Mini Thesis Film
FLIGHT is a mini thesis film that I collaborated with Jonathan Agosto, Nick Flores, and Tyana Keshishian.
To kick start my junior year at School of Visual Arts, we were given four weeks to create a short film that involved a non-human character. With that, we all decided to focus our film on a airplane that traveled the world, seeing places such as Paris, Japan, and Egypt.
As a team, we all had our roles. I focused mostly on environmental modeling and lighting. Jonathan focused on prop modeling and texturing. Nick focused on the animation and Tyana focused on rigging. While we did have our own skills, we all helped each other throughout the entire pipeline.
This project helped me learn what the pipeline is like in creating a short film. Not only was I exposed to the pipeline, I also learned the importance of teamwork and communication. In just four weeks in making this project, I am happy with what our team was able to accomplish. It was quite a flight but, I wouldn't have been able to do it without my fellow team!
